I don't get that. Playing well when the stakes are high is essential, particularly when playing a mediocre team at home, where winning means HFA through the playoffs.

We've been here before and we choked. The moment we had the #1 seed in hand we choked against Oakland, this team hasn't proven to me that they can win when it counts(they tried to blow it twice in last 5 minutes last week against Cincinnati) so until they do I'm not confident in them.

I agree this is a good test with all the pressure on Denver considering the playoffs are even with more stress.

There's no way in bloody hell that Denver will lose this game today. No way they're gonna choke away a #1 seed when all they have to do is beat a 4 win team!

This was a playoff game all along: The Broncos needed to win to assure themselves of a first round bye and AFC West title. The only thing the Pats losing changes is the prize for winning just got a little better. This doesn't add any pressure to a team that knows it needs to win today. They already needed to win. Nothing has changed.

The biggest test will be to see how Kubiak prepares this team for big time games. The main complaint about Fox from just about everyone was that in big games we would come out uninspired and unprepared. Now we see if it was really the coaching at fault or is it the players.
