The playoffs are sudden death regardless of if you get home field advantage or not. Rams have two weaks :-) to get the mistakes out of the way. I think they will right the ship.

Overall still been a good year compared to what we suffered thru for years? Thing is we could easily have 3 or 4 more losses, we are fortunate to even be 11-3.

Maybe we get home win in playoffs and go on the road and play our best game of the year, that's all it takes and it can happen??

Tbh, I savor every victory. We know how bad this franchise can be. To be in the thick of it after week four is all gravy. I hated Fisher the moment he was hired. For years I wished him gone, and now the Rams are kicking some ass. Obviously, they're still learning how to be a consistent winner. Keep building on the foundation. The future is bright.

This offense really misses Kupp.

I knew they were going to miss him, but I thought Woods would fill in nicely.

Problem is, Reynolds doesn't fill Woods role as much as I had hoped. He has some good games, but his blocking isn't as good as Woods and he disappears for stretches of the game.

Kupp being gone really shows how lackluster our WR core is. Woods is our only consistent receiver on the field currently. Cooks is a disappointment. Once teams find a way to limit Gurley, they take away half of our offensive power.

This time of year winning teams run into losing teams trying to make the playoffs or at least end their season with wins. The Eagles are one of those teams. And I think they would have been better off with Foles as QB than Wentz. Foles is the better QB and the Rams got stuck playing against him. Again.
I see the Rams winning the next two games and building their confidence back up.

Overall I don't think some people realize how good and important Kupp is? we would have 3 WR's with a 1,000 yards, considering in the Fisher years we couldn't even get one! He runs the best routes, has the best hands, and has the best connection with Goff!
Reynolds would start for a lot of teams, hes a good number 4 for us, and glad that we have him, beats the options we've had in past years

All that being said, I'm still not understanding why we couldn't get open against a depleted secondary that everyone else was taking advantage of?

Kupp was Goff’s go to on 3rd down and in general. But the real problem is Goff under pressure.

Work is out and it’s not going to change. I thought they adjusted well on that first drive. Lots of runs and tosses to Gurley, the TE.

Opposing teams must be taking away the deep ball. So you take what they give you

Defenses are hard rushing Goff and keeping four defenders deep to stop the Rams from hitting the long pass and without a guy like Kupp that will get separation quickly in the middle of the field Goff has fewer options, then if Gurley doesn't get going it all falls apart and we look like a struggling team.
The Rams have to fix this and they have just two weeks to do it.

If you can stand to watch the replay;

The last play of the game Reynolds was being held. This game could have been won.

Cooks isn't close to being a disappointment IMO. 72-1107-3 (would like more TDs) in 14 games in his first year in the offense is pretty solid, especially when Woods has 78-1106-5 right along side him (12th and 13th in the league for yardage, only the Steelers have 2 WRs higher). He's on pace for 82-1265-3, 2 receptions short of his career best and a career best in yardage.

The Rams offense spreads the ball around, which makes a 100 catch season tough (usually the bench mark for a strong season). Gurley has 59-580-4 and Cupp still has 40-566-6 despite being out for the season. 7 players with more than 20 receptions on the season thus far.

We will get there.... Hard to turn around a franchise that was so used to losing for so long...

Sad thing is our oline sucked for years, the last 2 it has been pretty good, but a couple guys are getting old and the last few weeks have shown that we need some upgrading? Obviously good olineman are hard to find to begin with. hopefully we get a quick fix before Gurley is on his downward slide?
Our secondary obviously needs some improvement, and other than Littleton and Sam our LB's suck!

As you said we will get there, but some of these guys are already running out of time?

I'd add Whitworth as well. He was great last year but this year he's making a lot more mistakes and letting more guys through. Agree with getting a youth movement on the OLine going.
