Everett did the same thing on the previous drive. I wish someone would've told him that the extra time on the clock is way more important than those two or three yards you picked up by staying in bounds.

WE have to hope New Orleans loses to Pissburgh and once with the Panthers. They own the tie-breaker, so we need to finish the year with two wins and hope Pissburgh and Carolina helps us out a bit.

We were 10-1 going into a bye week. We were very flawed on defense but our offense was a well oiled machine that could be relied on to carry the slack and help us pick up wins. Now we are 1-2 since the bye week and the offense while showing some glimpses of regaining that spark, still can't get out of its own way a good portion of the time. We are not a time that can rely on our defense to win games because our linebackers and secondary aren't good enough. We need to right the ship in a hurry or else we're going to be making another early exit in the playoffs and wonder where it all went wrong.
