defense sucked beyond belief today, but the loss is 100% on kelly. typical arrogance that gets so many coaches fired year after year after year.

Sadly, The ONSIDE kick probably gave Minnesota worse field position than they had all day.
The Eagles should have just did an onside kick every kickoff.
Even if they did not recover, it would have been the same result.
I never saw a gameplan where one team was so terrified of a kick returner that they simply gave great field position on every drive.
Minnesota never had to travel more than 65 yards in the entire game...and most of the time had less than that....
The defense played poorly. But, the coaching kept putting the defense in a bind.

i don't care much. today was the huge day. eagles beat the vikings, packers pull off a mild upset.. eagles get a chance to clinch at home next week. now it would take a mega upset special for the cowboys to lose today and then choke against the redskins next week. now, at best, it means romo will get to light up this defense in his building.

what boggles the mind is.. why even kick a short liner? if you're going to do that shit, which they shouldn't, then at least go with the popup you've been doing. they change it for whatever reason and kick it on a rope.. and it's picked up 1 second later at the minny 31. ruined all the momentum with such stupidity.

I hope Kelly learns something from this game. The Eagles only had the ball for 22 minutes, so the defense kept getting worn down, He was afraid to kick the ball deep, probably a lack of confidence in his special teams. But that lack was based on a game played in a blizzard,prior to that game the special teams had no problems. The Eagles abandoned the run, BIG BIG mistake? This loss was due to pooor coaching! IMO.

The offense played well enough to win....they get a B.
The coaching gets an F-
The defense gets a D.
The special teams gets an F.
They might have done better had the coaching not constantly made things almost impossible for the defense.
Leslie Frazier did nothing special but he looked like Vince Lombardi today compared to Kelly.
Thank God they had a one game buffer.

WOW!! I didn't even see the Dallas game. Once the birds lost, I was done watching football for today. I just found out they lost on espn.com. Now i like our chances next week.
