What happened with the coin toss? ....am watching another game

Basically, Dak Prescott said "we wanna kick...get the ball in the second half" but because he didn't use the word "defer," the refs said the Rams would get to choose in the second half, since Dallas "made their choice" in the first half

Cowboys won the toss to start the game... Cowboys chose to kick off but the ref's said they didn't use the word, "defer"... when you win the toss, you usually defer if you want the ball in the 2nd half... They claimed the Cowboys chose what to do by saying, we will kick... During the half, the Ref's listened to the review and Dak did say "defer" at one point... McVay wasn't happy because he was expecting the ball to start the 2nd half and the ref's hadn't told him... Changes strategy, etc knowing you're going to get the ball or not to start the half... Crazy...

exactly. when you express your choice, "we will kick", then that's the opposite of a deferral. 2 times the ref asked Dak if he was sure, 2x Dak sez "kick". that's not a deferral, at least in this language.

Could this season have gotten any worse for M Gordon? He holds out because he wants more money with a new contract... SD doesn't give in... Gordon returns and has had an average season so far... Then today, he gets benched because he had lost 2 fumbles... Wonder what his plans are next season...

As much as I dislike the Cowboys because of their fag owner, douche RB, even douchier QB (for throwing Dez under the bus), I very much root for their D. Big Smith (NDame fan friends so I watch a bunch of him and great recovery story) and Lee (guy is just a machine when healthy) fan.
