Trying to figure out what Green was thinking there... The guy he keyed on dropped into coverage, but he should have known he was split in the 1 & 2 gap so it was an "either-or" assignment... Why he only looked 1 way is baffling. Unless the left side of the LOS was loaded with pass-rushers that this video doesn't show? But even that doesn't add up seeing only 4 rush the pocket

Yeah it is hard to tell without the big picture on the play.

But it exemplifies the lack of experience for Green and truly is still lost playing Center.

He has made some big plays but it has been rare to say the least.

Funny we say Claypool regressed but certain numbers this season on average are better than last.
Receptions /Game
Yards/ Game and Yards /Catch
YAC
Rushing attempts and yards (this is more on the play calling than him).

But what is lower:

TD receptions
Catches for first downs /game

So in reality he hasn't regressed as much as he hasn't improved at all (IE...already hit his ceiling) in a season he needed to be a legit #2.
In turn since he is 100% figured out by the opposition he is flopping around like a fish out of water to compensate for lack of improvement.
