Doing some reading on Chuck Noll, they said some of his saying could make you scratch your head till you were bald. But the team knew he meant business, they didn't fuck with Chuck.

The Chin, well who hasn't heard the story of the time he grabbed Greg Lloyd by the face mask and they would have to dodge the spit in their helmets while he yelled at them....He demanded their respect, and always got it.

Tomlin, his philosophical bullshit is old. I still remember when we went to the Super Bowl against Arizona..... I honestly wanted to punch him in the face, after Harrison had his touchdown..... and all those guys ran up to him and looked to him for praise.... And that mother fucker said to them, "When I was in Tampa, we had 5 interceptions" Well Mike Tomlin, who gives a flying fuck about Tampa Bay....I mean what a fuckin dick!!! A linebacker just had the longest interception return in super bowl history and all you can say is about some flash in the pan, shit fuckin Tampa Bay team!!!!

But as a Steeler fan I have supported the Rooney's choices......
And I respected Tomlin..... But his philosophy is becoming a big pile of horse shit!!!

Tomlin's presser comments sound good, but I've never paid much attention even when they were winning...I'm a show me kinda person.

No they shouldn't...they played good enough to win the game, but you simply can't make those kind of undisciplined mistakes at the end....that's reflecting on the HC.

The first thing this coaching staff needs to get through there dumb ass brain is an extra point is better than NO FUCKING POINTS. And to add to this, why was Bell not involved in any of these???

And I understand at the end of the game throwing underneath, because of the coverage.....But why AB, why not throw to Bell, let him get a head of steam and try and fake some more Cowboys out of their jock-straps....

I used to support Tomlin in that "Cowher's team" debate... But now that Lebeau is gone, we are seeing the true results of a Tomlin team. We all thought that Butler would instill Lebeau's schemes, but I am not entirely sure that Butler even controls the defense very much. We know Tomlin is all about the tampa 2, and more & more we are seeing that coverage in the secondary. Tomlin & Colbert have a whole arsenal of man-cover CB's but they insist on playing zones? Gilbert is probably the only zone-based cover guy on the roster and he has barely even sniffed the field. Gay has clearly lost a step and its showing. One of the biggest issues with these man-cover CBs playing zone is that they played their entire careers to this point learning how to tackle while playing man coverage. Meaning more often than not they are making the tackle in stride with the receiver. Now that they are playing zone, they are required to tackle in the open field.

Tomlin's fingerprints are clearly on this DEF...but there has been such a big change from LY where we saw some growth in the team...especially the front 7...Moats has basically been just a guy, Chick should be getting the lionshare of snaps and should be re-signed and probably starting next yr if they don't find a stud in the draft. JJ has made a few plays, but we know he's nothing more than a rotational OLB. JH has awaken the last couple of games...Dupree has been missed.

I agree Gay is now the 3rd best CB on the roster...I thought Burns played well yesterday...stop whining to the refs about pushing off, they will eventually catch it. Cockrell made a boneheaded play on the hit OB, but he's the best CB on the roster...They seriously need to draft a slot CB next yr.

Davis (I still don't understand his face mask) is slowing edging Golden out.

If no clearcut OLB/edge rusher is on the board, I could go FS, DE, ILB in the 1st rd.
