That's not hard to figure... Shit I think I'm 1 of maybe 5 people on the hoop still in their 20's. It's a regular geriatric clinic around here...

See, your still wet behind the ears......
Geezum Christmas......

You don't know the struggles of Cliff Stout, Mark Malone, David Woodley, Bubby Brister.......

Oh and by the way, I won't tell @MISKO what you said.:heh:

Hey now... I was at least in diapers during the Malone years. Once I came of coherent age, I got to experience the pain of O'Donnell.

As hated as O'Douche is, at least he took us to a super bowl.
Cliff Stout was such a fuckin bum....OMG, when he was thrown out of Pittsburgh (finally) he went to the USFL and played for the Birmingham Stallions. One year Birmingham came to play the Pittsburgh Maulers. the Maulers pinned Birmingham deep in their own end, Stout faded back to pass into the endzone......The game was delayed for 20 - 30 minutes because the Pittsburgh fans at 3 Rivers threw everything but the seats at this fucker!!!!

True story!!!!

From Wiki........

After the 1983 season, Stoudt left Pittsburgh, signing with the Birmingham Stallions of the USFL. During the season opener on March 11, 1984 against the Pittsburgh Maulers at Three Rivers Stadium, Stoudt was heckled and pelted with snowballs by the fans. It would turn out to be the only sellout in the one season history of the Maulers.

LOL! How fun would that be to pelt someone with snowballs at a game? I would have done it to multiple people over the past 4-5 years if I didn't fear losing my season tickets!

Better known as the "dark period".

Cowher will always be a beloved figure in PIT because he brought the Steelers out of the "dark period"!

I think the Steelers aee in for a long afternoon tomorrow. Imagining our defense trying to tackle Zeke in the open field makes me shudder

Cowboys are gonna kick the Steelers asses, at least I hope so. I won't say good luck, because I'd be lying, but I will say :suds: to a good injury free game.

I was wondering if anyone would reference
O'Donnell and that 95-96 superbowl against the cowboys -
still vividly remember Neal throwing to the flat
out to Larry Brown -
not once, but twice -
and no steeler in the area -
Ive always felt that Jerry sent money
to a Swiss bank acct in the name of a relative
of O'Donnell - no way he could do that twice
without some sort of motive

Goes without saying I guess, but the Steelers backs are against the wall here...they must load the box and expose the secondary to some 1 on 1 shots...allowing Elliott to pick up 4 or 5 yds a pop might be a drip, drip, drip type death but that's what DAL does, they will gladly take the 4-5 yds a pop grind down the clock and still take shots down field.
That's exactly what I would do against our team. Say Dallas does hit a quick score, that decreases the time of possession, which is what has allowed our defense to play so hard. Grinding out 7, 8, 10 minute drives is why the Cowboys are 7-1

Absolutely devastating. You just can't win in this league without a defense, and that's what's doing them in. Good game by Bell, Brown, and Ben, but if the other side scores over 30 every game, you just can't expect to win. Not that it mattered, but stupid call of the game goes to the weird assed reverse to Brown for a loss of 10. No need to get cute, stick with what's working.

Anyway, running game of the Cowboys killed them, not to mention that damn screen for 90 yards or whatever. Can't win without SOME D, at least. That's all there is to it.
