Where the hell does this rank amongst worst Bears games you've ever watched? Has to be up there.

Up there, for sure.

Yeah, I mean. At least those games in 2014 where we failed to show up and got our asses kicked were against good teams. The Bucs were a 3-5 football team ranked near the bottom of the league in every category defensively. We turned the ball over FIVE god damned times, surrendered a safety and only got in the end zone on a fluke hail mary.

It's also amazing considering the optimism that was swirling around this team. Impressive win versus the first place Vikings two weeks ago, followed by a bye week where they got healthy and were supposedly supposed to come out renewed and confident for the second half of the season.

I mean, there's nothing else to say... this was a complete embarrassment of a showing.

This is pretty much what I have said about cutler. When things are hopeless, he is great. When there's is a shimmer of hope, he shits the bed.

A tad before my time, but my old man told me about those days. Games were blacked out locally, and this was before Sunday Ticket. Said he'd drive 45 minutes out to Kankakee to a spot there to watch the games. No matter how bad they were, him and my mom would make the trip every Sunday. Had to be some long rides home. lol

Just terrible all around. Long will be out a while with the ankle and Howard also was injured in the game. Defense just cant keep up with the mistakes when they were making mistakes on their own. That TD to the right side had the safeties playing a different defense than the cornerbacks. Porter also let his guy loose and both receivers were open in both corners, Winston could have hit either of them, he chose LeBlanc, easier throw for a righty. Tampa did not even use their big receiver weapon in Evans that no bear would have been able to cover.
This performance was why I said the bye week came at the worst possible time. End of the game, Fox did not just punish the team by calling time outs 26 points down, he punished the fans dragging it out.

I actually thought we had a chance to turn things around going into half, but that opening "drive" in the 2nd half, particularly the fucking scramble play killed any hopes. It was over the second that pass was completed.

Really disappointed in the o-line. They were awful. They looked nothing like the o-line against Minnesota. Play-calling wasn't as good either.

As I stated before, they can't handle success. Jay's MO.

They lost it when Howard was on fire during a drive and then didn't get one red zone carry.

You mean the one where Jay fumbled? He had one on a pitch play, and almost scored.

Howard was looking primed for another big game until all hell broke loose and we had to throw the ball the entire second half.

Yeah...................I started watching the bears when Payton was a rookie......(that`ll give you an idea of my age)
QB play was woeful with the likes of Bob Avellini,Mike Phipps,Gary huff and Vince Evans.evans was actually decent.......

I don`t remember much of,if anything of the early 70`s,but yeah, the 70`s had to be the most undesirable Bears team to watch since I had been watching them.......

And it sucked for me to watch cause I grew up in a house where my dad and bros. were Packer and STL cardinal fans..........only bear fan and Cub fan in dahouse...........Go figure.

Yeah, I just know he didn't touch it after it was first and goal. Are you sure you aren't confusing that play with a fake in which they gave it to the fullback?

I just know he had a carry to the outside in the red zone on the drive following the INT, which resulted in that Jay fumble.

I think your confusing that with a play where they faked to him on the outside and ran it inside with the fullback because I remember saying specifically that Howard wasn't going to touch the ball again when they got near the goal line and I was right.
