Where the hell does this rank amongst worst Bears games you've ever watched? Has to be up there.

Up there, for sure.

Not sure but I rember a few losses back in the late 70`s that was absolute horrible.......lol
They lost it when Howard was on fire during a drive and then didn't get one red zone carry.
A tad before my time, but my old man told me about those days. Games were blacked out locally, and this was before Sunday Ticket. Said he'd drive 45 minutes out to Kankakee to a spot there to watch the games. No matter how bad they were, him and my mom would make the trip every Sunday. Had to be some long rides home. lol
Yeah, I just know he didn't touch it after it was first and goal. Are you sure you aren't confusing that play with a fake in which they gave it to the fullback? You mean the one where Jay fumbled? He had one on a pitch play, and almost scored.
Howard was looking primed for another big game until all hell broke loose and we had to throw the ball the entire second half.

I think your confusing that with a play where they faked to him on the outside and ran it inside with the fullback because I remember saying specifically that Howard wasn't going to touch the ball again when they got near the goal line and I was right.I just know he had a carry to the outside in the red zone on the drive following the INT, which resulted in that Jay fumble.
