The settlement specifically stated that it wasn't an admission of guilt. So, no... That is simply you failing to understand what transpired.
Of course it states that. That's what a settlement is. You paying the accuser in exchange for not admitting to guilt. DUH. On what planet do you settle by admitting guilt and then paying them. You might as well go to trial then. Or you are already in court and the case is going horribly against you already.
Is my assuming he is somewhat guilty for settling any more far fetched than you thinking he's a great guy by watching him on Tv? I stand by my original statement. There is no way I settle if I am innocent. Otherwise you open the flood gates for false accusations in the future for a quick pay day not to mention the pure principality of the matter.
