Browns had awful discipline, dropped passss and just an all-around shitshow but great gameplan by Dallas DC. Dominated from start to finish. No time to throw, no running lanes.

On that fumble Watson walked over after the play and reached down to help one of his linemen up and if looked to me like his lineman swatted his hand away. Whether intentional or not Watson then turned and walked away and the O-lineman got up himself.

That's gotta be a death knell right?

Besides being named Tom Brady I really don't feel like he's added anything to the broadcast. But several times he's tripped over his tongue.

I don't think he's been quite bad at all, and I don't hate him as much as I thought I would, but he's nowhere near being a top tier announcer.
Kind of boring, but he wasn't horrible.

The Watson stuff is being overplayed.

How many QB's can face a defense like Dallas' without their top 2 OT's and look even average?

They face a cakewalk of a schedule the next 3 weeks. Then they will start to get healthy. By week 8 this year, they will be a completely different team than the one that played yesterday.

Have to give credit to Dallas' D for sure but the Watson stuff is actually pretty accurate. Now, are there some other factors in play? Definitely, but this train has been coming down the tracks for some time now and everybody knows it. Missing Chubb is massive for them but getting down so early just exposed them to some really bad shit. 50 drop backs and only 14 rushing attempts plays right into the Cowboys hands. But Watson was horrible throwing the ball deep which used to be one of his strengths. 0-7 on throws over 15 yds. Only 1 of those a drop and some of them not even remotely close. Putting all the off field insanity aside even though it's a huge part of the overall story, Watson looks totally washed mentally and physically.
Interesting fun (or not so fun) fact on Watson. In their first 3 seasons Andrew Luck took 324 QB hits and we all saw how that played out. Watson, in 10 fewer games, took 332. And Watson has a slighter frame than Luck did. Have to wonder if his body is just getting shot at this point.
