There will be a lot of knocks on the offense but let's not forget: when this offense needed to it started off inside its own 10, chewed up just shy of 11 minutes of playtime, got a crucial FG that ensured the Ravens would have to play for the TD instead of being able to tie it at 16 apiece, and set the circumstances such that the defense could seal the win.

There will be growing pains. Most of us acknowledged this all off season. Grinding out wins is a good thing. This offense is going to bludgeon some D's this year but until they do they can win ugly. And that's something previous Broncos teams lacked.

Just another quick fact. The Broncos haven't won a game where the offense didn't score a touchdown since the 2006 season when the Broncos beat the Chiefs in over time with the final score 9-6. We have been a very offensive minded team for many years. Good to see Elway really working to build up this defense. Every single starter on this defense is somebody that Elway has drafted, found the UDFA way, traded for, brought in FA, or picked up on the waiver wire. This is Elway's baby and man does it look good.
