As a Bengal fan, I'm not crazy about this game. Week 1 is traditionally a bit weird.... And the Bengals starters haven't seen the field yet as they were rested for the full preseason. On paper this should be a Bengal win. Pittsburgh starting a new QB, game is in Cincinnati, and the Bengals really dominated the two games last season. On the other hand, for whatever reason the Bengals really struggle against new quarterbacks (look what they did against the Jets last year) and there are plenty of reasons to expect that the rebuilt offensive line will not be quite ready for week 1.

If I were a gambler, I'd stay away from this game. I predict Cincinnati will win, but would not be shocked to see them upset at home in week 1.

And I won't even be able to see the game. Have to drive Pittsburgh to Long Beach to pick up a Mack we bought. As soon as we get the registration done I'm hitting the road. I don't fly so it's going to take a while to make it that far and back. I have the NFL+ app thing but I'm not sure it will let me watch the Steelers if my phone is located out of market. Probably going to make me watch the Rams or something dumb.

I think you need to get NFL+ Premium for that. But really I don't know. It's not very clear.

I fully expect a Bengal win in this one. The o-line of the Steelers will be exposed badly, Harris will barely average 3.0 YPC and Mitch will be running for his life.

I'd start Tampa.

I think the Steelers O is just an unknown. It could be explosive, or it could just explode. I just don't know how much effect that OL is going to have on production. Everything around them is high-octane.

Wilcox and Sample were both hurt in the preseason. Asiasi was hurt when we signed him. All of these guys are good blockers that don't add much to the passing game. I think all of us Bengal fans are interested to see what Hayden Hurst brings to the passing offense.
