Another late thread... But plenty to talk about

In the first game without Matt Canada the Steelers had:

• 421yds of offense... Snapping their 58-game streak without surpassing 400yds. Not once did Matt Canada achieve this.
• More yards than their opponent. First time this season.
• More plays than their opponent. First time this season.
• Zero 3 & out's. Lowest amount this season. Matt Canada's best was two 3 & out's in a game this season (had zero only twice in his 44 games). Entering this game they were tied with NYJ for 2nd most 3 & outs in the league.
• Kenny Pickett threw for 278yds passing. Best of this season so far.
• Pat Freiermuth achieved his FIRST 100yd+ game in the NFL.
• Najee Harris achieved 6.6yds per carry. 2nd highest single-game average of his career.

This was a good step forward for the offense but the Bengals D is soft as hell. They need to have sustained success before I call it a turning point.

Now that teams have tape on the new wrinkles in this offense they will need to adapt & overcome.

Great having a healthy Muth back, KP needs a big target over the middle......Najee was running hard all game, showed some real power on some runs and actually had some holes to run through for a change......the yard total was a nice step forward, but need to put points on the board and stop relying on the D to make a big play to bail them out.....I'll take the W though, regardless of the circumstances

Granted Johnson was his go to the whole time but I wonder if he missed Austin wide open across the middle? He doesn't seem to pick up the crossing routes too well, I hope they work on that.
