Tonight's loss wasn't just any ordinary loss. I hope I wasn't the only one who noticed it but it looked like our team quit on Pelini tonight. It looked like they didn't want to be out there anymore. Remember when our team started quitting on Callaclown? I hope to hell they don't start quitting on Pelini...

No one quit tonight. What a bunch of nonsense.

I just sense, and see, a total lack of leadership.

I know that doesn't mean anything to a lot of fans........but youth, inexperience and a lack of leadership will cut a team right down. A team can have all the 5-star athletes in the world, but if they don't have someone to keep things organized on the field, they're as good as average.

I am really disappointed this year with our defense due to the fact that I don't see some of the Seniors stepping up out there on the field and picking the other players up. I've actually seen P.J. Smith (he's not the only one) a couple of times simply passing blame directly on some of the other guys on the field. That is no way to lead, and it weakens a unit.

Crick hasn't been a leader, Lavonte hasn't been a leader, Dennard hasn't been a leader..........that's 3 All-Americans who look like they're out there for themselves right now rather than the team.

I may be wrong, but I think the bulk of our problems are stemming from this.

We completely gave up in the 2nd half. The team quit, players were just going through motions...

You'll be fine. Wisky is fucking good. I'm glad we don't play them until the CCG :D. You guys are a bit like last year but better. The offensive side is what is killing you. It's tough for any D to contain that Wisky offense. Wilson is an absolute stud, and then you have Ball and White in the backfield.

This was a rough intro for you guys in the B1G. one of the better teams I've personally seen in years. I have to admit my friends and i laughed at Martinez tonight. He looks lost out there. If that kid didn't have any legs he'd be selling hot dogs on the corner of Bourbon St. It just comes down to having a balanced team and you, as well as 10 others in the conference don't have it....yet. There's a lot of football to be played and personally I expected tonight to be a blowout cuz I believe Wisky is that good. We've got 2 more months of grind it out football to be played and Id be hard pressed to not think that Pelini will have this shit figured out. Chalk it off to a good learning experience and chances are (if MSU, UM or Iowa don't figure it out) you'll meet them again in December. I'm looking forward to seeing what plays out because there is a lot of parity in the conference right now other than the fucking faggot honey badgers.

I could see what JJM said about leadership having a big impact tonight. A lot of great individual plays now and then. I said to my friends early in the game that I thought Nebraska's defensive playser really flashed to their assignments well and they HIT. That fell apart a little, and maybe htat has something to do with leadership....and a lot to do with losing the battle at the line.

And Martinez, even though he's running the plays, just doesn't seem to have that leadership quality.

I think your season is all about next week. This was a big game, and it hurt, and you could see it on your players' faces when they walked off that it hurt, but if they hand it to Ohio State like they should, then you get back to business and play Husker football.

It was retarded for your OC to get away from your running game in the 1st half...when you HAD to pass you're fucked. Martinez is only effective passing if you're running the ball well.

It was an enjoyable game for me and other badger fans..I just hope drunk UW fans were well behaved before and after the game.
