OLine and DLine for me. For the Bears 2 strengths of their team are the entire of both the OL and DL so if our guys can handle both it goes a long way in showing the Broncos have maybe improved in that area.

WR depth is another spot I'm excited to watch.

TE position looks like it hasn't exactly sorted itself out. Very surprised with the first depth chart that Derby is not at the top. He has been the 1 TE that has done something so far in camp.

Vance Joseph was quoted today now saying that he has changed his mind in the last 24 hours and Jamaal Charles will sit out the PS game. Said he would rather give him more reps in the next game then 1-2 series of each.

A spring League that developed 2nd string QB for the NFL would be a huge Boone for them .


I think you would still fill stadiums to see players like that .. Add in players like Tebow and College greats into areas that would be intrested in them ...For instance Tebow to Tampa type of thing ..

NFL won't have a spring league IMO because of injuries and financials. It's not like baseball. The development league is college football. Not a spot that is cut out for minor league football. Hard to clean up injuries and insurance on a league that doesn't get the support.

They've tried many different types of "other leagues" other then indoor and CFL..

and well they just simply last 1 year and fold. Been there done that. It hasn't worked.

USFL was the last league and it barely survived 1 year.

It would be nice, but it is very difficult to do. They have a lot more factors against them then baseball and basketball do.

If I was an Olineman, I would take every opportunity I could after I was drafted to prepare for the blkg schemes,etc that I'm going to need to learn to transition,etc for NFL. Whether you can get playbook early, get with future teammates to watch film, walk thru assignments, non- contact stuff,etc just to help get heads up for what is big learning curve for these guys transitioning from college . I would anyway.
