Playing in Toronto means here is a DH. Even with a DH the Phillies look weak on paper. Nix,Brown and Mayberry are all in the lineup and our DH is Rollins. Howard will be on the bench. The one positive is that Ruiz is batting cleanup. He should do well in that spot. Asche is still batting 8th.

Dom Brown is just trash. I was really hoping this guy finally got it, and while he wouldn't end up being a perennial allstar, atleast be a guy you can plug in and hit .280 with an OBP around .340

instead he has completely regressed, and make matters worse he appears to be 100% healthy. So theres nothing holding him back

I can live with a slow start and a .230 average or whatnot, but hes not even talking walks now either. Just 9 walks in 30 games. That's pathetic

I don't know what is up with D. Brown this year but you are totally correct BPNAZ. At least last year you could depend on a DomBomb at some point in a game. This year it appears he is just showing up for a paycheck and to hell with the rest. Seems alot of his teammates are on that bandwagon.

I agree. I know Ryno is playing percentages but doing it with Revere is assinine. The play the other night revealed his weak arm but being in and out of the lineup has hurt his hitting consistency so he doesn't even seem like the same hitter. And I hope there isn't a third Nix brother out there.

He should be tearing the ball off the cover right now. Utley is on his start off hot and now I'm too cool to do anything right now. Howard is Howard and Rollins is Rollins.
