They don't do that very often........last time sech a warning was issued was back in 2006.

To a degree. It's usually not a sensationalist joke when you have half the storm chasers in the country camped out in your city.

That said... It's the local news peoples jobs to rake in the ratings and they're not shy about putting the fear of god in you.

Lincoln never has and never fuckin will have a tornado. We live in a valley. Not gonna happen in my lifetime.

We didn't get the daytime sunshine/heating ingredient for things to get bad in this particular spot.

The lift wasn't there. It's not over yet, but nighttime will reduce chances somewhat not completely.

You realize a tornado caused heavy damage to Thuman. Iowa right? 30 miles south of Omaha.

We were very fortunate to have remained just a smidge north of the warm front and that we didn't get any sunshine yesterday.
