Jalen said exactly what I have been saying, a couple teams dominating is NOT new. Not sure why people dont understand, it has always been like this lol.

I'm not a LeBron superfan and he has done/said some dumb things in the past, but I still respect his game and would much rather he win than the Warriors.

Kawahi Leonard completely shut down Durant in game 1 while he was still playing.
He was toying with KD. Magically KD scored 22 points after that injury in game 1 the rest of the way.

fun times while it lasted.
Now, Durant is being guarded by a dude who played in the D-league.
Literally, a guy who paid $150 to try out for the D-league.

Lets not praise Durant for doing what he is supposed to do with a far inferior matchup all game.

The SPURS can score, they just cannot stop Durant from scoring without Kawahi.

They dont really have any other small forward on the team at all.

We talk about all the teams that Cleveland plays....but at least those teams are healthy

GS has played exactly 2 healthy teams in this entire 3 year run
And they went (1-1)

Although some might suggest "LUCK" means something else when it comes to Zasa Pachulia and his 10 year record of questionable plays.

I fully expect Cleveland to lose a key player to injury versus Boston.

The Spurs. Tank to get duncan. Dodge the 05 Heat because both Shaq and Wade got injured.

And have no room to talk about dirty players when you had Bowen.

These playoffs have been horrible, a few games here and there were good but so many blowouts and the top teams in each conf. have barely been challenged on their ways to a perfect 21-0 record. Can anybody outside of Warriors and Cavs fans say they're enjoying this? The finals could be amazing because they are both really really good, but it doesn't take away that the parity outside of those 2 is horrible right now and hard to see that changing next year.

You need to review the numbers LeBron dropped in 14 Finals.

he was a beast.

The rest of the team was brutal. And the spurs shot like 70% from 3. That's a lot of bad luck for him and good luck for SA

Stop rewarding shitty franchises. Make teams work to acquire their rookies. You get bad results (Duncan to SA, Rose to CHI, #1 pick to ORL in 93) when you have a shitty process.

No team can have perfect depth, but they have been super thin at the SMALL FORWARD.

Manu Ginobili has been able to sub in and play spot duty SF really well.
But, without Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili has to play point guard.

Manu is one of the best defenders to ever play the game AND a decent playmaker.
But, at age 39, he cannot be both the playmaker and primary wing defender for 40 minutes.

It is probably the two worst injuries to have versus GOLDEN STATE.
They could have overcame losses at SG, C, or PF. But, not the PG and SF combo.

meh, i dunno man. even when you come up with another set of rules somebody'll find a way to exploit 'em...

look at the NFL. imo the league that came closest to it, especially when Pete Rozell was still around. teams found ways to draft better, find FAs, and go around the cap...

that's true.

the reality is in 5 years maybe this CBA works as the Cavs get old and Golden State gets too expensive to keep the band together.

But for now, trying to stop super teams from forming is only protecting the super teams that were already in place.
