It still wouldn't surprise me if he gets a game for it but I can see it going either way.

Rome didn't look good at all. Really hate to see stuff like that happening...

Definitely don't want to see guys injured. Big hits are part of the game and hockey can be pretty hazardous. I hope Rome (and Ehrhoff for that matter) are alright.

Well great win Sharks. Little leaky at the end but did what had to be done.

IIRC, he was asked whether it's possible that both Ehrhoff and Rome or either could miss Game 4 and he just answered "Yes".

Not to be picky but that's different than declaring them out, IMO.

Fair enough. Vancouver can definitely take positives from tonight, but those injuries on the back end are a big concern.

If not for Niemi in the second, this could have been a win.

I would agree if it was hammer and bieksa. Erhoff is bad but I think Ballard is VERY capable of filling in top 4. Alberts is even to Rome IMO

Even if he flat out said they were out, there's always a chance for a miraculous recovery. We won't really know for certain until the puck drops for game 4. If those 2 are out, the Sharks must take advantage of that.

Sure, but it will be about 3 weeks since both have played when they take the ice on Sunday, assuming they do. They won't be up to game speed, at least not at the very start. The Sharks have done the majority of their damage in this series in the first period. The Sharks will likely have to do it again if they want to take game 4.
