It's going to be tough to top the Sharks/Wings series. It was great up & down hockey. I have faith in the Canucks & Sharks to do just that though. Kesler's line vs Thornton's line. Couture's line vs the Sedin's. It should be fun.

Should be a great series vs two very good teams. I think the point differential between the two teams is pretty insignificant, as Vancouver played in the weakest division in hockey and the Sharks in the strongest. Also, the Sharks have been playing their best hockey- maybe of the decade- since mid January.

That being said, until they lose, Vancouver is the favorite in the NHL. Their depth is significant, and if Lou lives up to the hype, the Sharks will have their work cut out for them.

I agree it should be an up & down in your face series just like the Sharks/Wings. One thing I don't get about the Wings is a lot of people consider them a finesse team. The truth is they out hit the Sharks in every game. Tonight they knocked out one of their own players with a big hit. I hope Cleary recovers soon.

It'll definitely be entertaining for us with the Sharks in it, but I honestly can't see this series being as entertaining or close as the Detroit series was. Not saying it won't be good hockey. But that last series will be tough to beat for sure.

Maybe these teams will prove me wrong though.

Well since we know who will be in goal for the Canucks the plan for the Sharks should be simple enough. Get the puck to Thornton near or behind the net. Have him just flip the puck towards the net. If it doesn't go in from the flip, chances are it will go off a Canucks defenseman into the net.:
