but man I still just don't understand Rome over him.

Could it be that AV basically sees himself in aaron rome (ie Vigneault was a journeyman dman with the St Louis Blues) and he likes his "off the glass and out" skillset

the win % with Ballard in the lineup that i posted yesterday obviously means nothing to AV

yes, I know. I'm an old defenseman though... the rule is "either block it or don't" It's the halfway stuff that's always a killer.
I wasn't blaming him for the goal fwiw, but it was a mistake that stood out. just trying to get into AV's head here.

No, just remembering that all of us Canuck fans wanted to get rid of him really early this year. All season, he proved us wrong.

i was definitely one of them ... didnt see Hamhuis helping him this much nor did I factor in the effect those 2 skate cuts had on the mental side of his game ... he's really pulled it together even with all the trade rumors he's had to endure

Next round starts June 1. We'll be done with this one shortly before that one begins.
