This is a really good blueprint for teams to follow to keep the game close vs the Zags .

For sure ( I think there still a 1 ) but if you can duplicate what SMC did with the clock you should start least be there in the last 10 minutesIt'll help keep it close, but I don't think I've ever seen a team make so many shots with 3 or less seconds on the shot clock like St. Mary's did. That also forced Gonzaga into doing things they nor.ally don't do(turnovers and forced shots). Gonzaga is still gonna be out west IMO, so even if they don't get a 1 seed, it's not going to affect them that much.
Some guy on ESPN said Gonzaga is a Final 4 team....
SMC said hold our beer.
To me the concerning thing for the Zags isn't the loss. It's that , in their first close game in months , they showed a real lack of poise and decision making . Could just be an aberration but their going to be in close games in the tourney so you hope November / December Gonzaga shows up and that this isn't a forebearer
that may be true, im just referring to this yearYeah but in 2016 they beat a 11-seed in the E8 and a 7-seed in the F4.

actually there SOS isnt terroble........I was being sarcastic. They're riding momentum off a fluke tournament success. Solid basketball program, but wouldn't gain a 1-seed in any major conference in the country.
St Mary's looking to be the first bid stealer of the year
