Two teams that stand to upgrade obvious weaknesses, and are at least average now, conservatively. It checks out, imo.#8 Seattle and #9 Houston???????

Seattle is way too high, but I think Houston could be legit next year, especially if they address the RB position. They're young and very talented, and were also bitten by the injury bug a bit this year. They're also going to have a ton of cap space to work with.#8 Seattle and #9 Houston???????

Goff is the guy Brady haters act like he is.If Whitworth retires, that's going to be a huge blow. They have a lot of potential FAs on both sides of the ball to look at, as well, but that OL is old and expensive. Not sure what big name tackles they could bring in to replace Whitworth, but they have to address that for sure. NE made them look horrible, and Goff looked horrible under pressure.
Huh?Goff is the guy Brady haters act like he is.
Mediocre arm. Struggles against any hint of pressure. Not very mobile. Rigid to the point he is a dependent of the talent/coaching to produce.Huh?
Yeah but he doesn't have it between the ears anything like what Brady does yet, which is definitely going to be a struggle for him long-term. Thankfully he seems like a smart QB, so he can make that happen.Mediocre arm. Struggles against any hint of pressure. Not very mobile. Of course, won't bury Goff. Just saying the current iteration ain't it if we're talking about a tier 1 or 2 QB.Yeah but he doesn't have it between the ears anything like what Brady does yet, which is definitely going to be a struggle for him long-term. You don't see too many QBs succeed without a strong OL, so that has to be addressed. I'll give their defense credit, they played great against NO and NE to end the year, but they've got some major pieces on that side that need to be paid, so FA/the draft will be huge for them if they want to contend again next year.Of course, won't bury Goff. That's the thing, the Rams OL was probably one of the better OL's of the past 20 years or so. It will probably only get worse. They were historically dominant runblocking. You don't see too many QBs succeed without a strong OL, so that has to be addressed. Why do you ignore the chargers game? That was in the playoffs too.Seriously? He completed 63% of his passes in those games, averaging 7.5 YPA with 1 TD and 3 INT. By no means are those "pretty good stats".
I don't know that I'd go that far. They weren't even top 5 overall this year according to PFF, and they played terribly down the stretch. That's the thing, the Rams OL was probably one of the better OL's of the past 20 years or so. Kudos to him on the Chargers game. That was his lone bright spot in the playoffs. I see his performances in the AFCCG and SB as being similar to Peyton's in that the defense and running game were the reasons they won, not the QB play. Why do you ignore the chargers game? Brady 2018: 941 yards, 4 TD, 4 INT
Manning 2015: 539 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT
You see those as the same?
Manning's wins, historically, have been him. Brady is more of a component to a great team. I think he did his part.Kudos to him on the Chargers game. That was his lone bright spot in the playoffs. This year's title, more than any other year of his career, was a product of his team and not him.Manning's wins, historically, have been him. Brady is more of a component to a great team. I think he did his part.
They're really burying them by putting them 4th!any ranking not showing the patriots as #1 is just trolling or blind stupidity .... when are people going to stop trying to bury them ?
They're really burying them by putting them 4th!
And nothing.enjoy your meaningless #2 position this off-season while the Patriots will probably cruise to another AFC championship next year because that's what they do ....
Why would anyone "enjoy" not being predicted as a winner?enjoy your meaningless #2 position this off-season while the Patriots will probably cruise to another AFC championship next year because that's what they do ....
