The plaintiff alleges that she felt "intimidated and threatened" and "she was afraid of what someone like Watson could do if she did not submit to his demands." She says in the lawsuit that Watson made it clear, repeatedly, that he could "help, or hurt, her career." The lawsuit alleges that Watson forced the woman to perform oral sex on him, and that she "did not consent."

Is there video, is there a recording? She felt threatened and intimidated? Why? These alleged incidents happened how long ago? Unless there is evidence, its he said, she said. Not that this shouldn't be taken seriously but if you are going to throw allegations around, you better have clear and concise evidence to support your claim.

Let that sink in for a minute......Ok, so he forced the woman who did not consent but did so anyway? Your a massage therapist, just say no. I think she consented alright and now wants payment!

Sad thing is that there never seems to be any possible evidence either way. If they in fact did have sexual relations as adults, it is presumed consensual due to innocent before proven guilty. Without physical injury from fighting back, immediate conversations with people or police that are credible to the jury, video evidence, or confession, etc., how could one prove it? It’s not like a pregnancy test and it’s probably clear that there was opportunity. But then, I understand that it can’t always be true either. It’s diffic for the falsely accused and for the true victims who only have their story. (For sake of argument, true victims is given that they were.)

Exactly my point. Why did she wait so long? Where is her evidence? If it is just her making claims, that is not a legal standard for anyth8ng.

look i just read the 1st complaint ( there are 3 total now ) so how he would do it i cant answer other then telling people he knows not to be her client . but i have no answer that makes sense

Yes, I understand innocence until proven guilty and without proof... I’m just talking practically speaking about how somebody who was truly a victim could prove it. People don’t usually record everything. But I do think that how one responds to unwanted actions could be telling the police, but even then that‘s indirect because she would say it happened, he would say didn’t or was consensual. It provides a narrative, timeline, perspective, but not proof.

Because they’re not proving that they were together in the same room; they are not trying to prove oral sex happened. They’re trying to prove it was forced. But people cannot be presumed guilty, should not be falsely accused, and there are intimidations that the accused didn’t know was there. She can testify, etc., but thats hard because then historically the defense, as they should give all resources they have, grill into them. Sometimes the victim is pristine, sometimes they are not and just like the accuser doing something bad to one victim doesn’t mean they were guilty for another, just because one victim has done XYZ doesn’t mean they didn’t have something forced by someone else.

Again, I am only talking about a hypothetical where somebody actually is guilty and how to prove it when things that are recorded like entering a building together or things agreed upon like having had sex is not disputed but whether it was forced is, unless there’s physical abuse and even that gets tricky.

By the way, I also feel bad for the falsely accused. Because usually these cases of celebrities, the public sometimes presumes something went wrong and the celebrity got off, even if they weren’t guilty at all. And then if they are found not guilty, they can’t very well get damages from the accuser who has nothing and they are not going to win trying to get it. Their future deals can be impacted with money but also in having to add different clauses into the contract.

I thought at the very least it would be covered up better if they were happily winning. But the level of support they show or don’t show for Watson or the women could get even worse.

I find it ironic that maybe Houston is telling Watson what the women say Watson told them, that they could make it better or worse if he doesn’t go along.

thats why we have due process . you guys know what happens , early in the story things are sensationalized and as time goes on real facts come out

we will have to wait and see and i hope for DW's sake these are false allegations and no woman were harmed . if he is by some chance guilty then he has to pay
