Fair enough, we'll see how Terry does when teams can't erase him in their gameplan. DK is a beast, not taking anything away from, but lots of his highlights are from single coverage.
Terry also destroyed single coverage, and really how much faster is DK than Terry?

Just stop, DK had 4 games of 3 or fewer catches. He also had 4 games of 4 or few catches last year with R. Wilson. So please don't talk about disappearing because it happens to the best of them. Also add in Tmac was virtually on his own last year (on the outside) but only had Logan Thomas and NO QB to speak of.

As for DK, well he had a 7x PB throwing him the ball in an offense that featured him with outside help from Lockett (also 10 TD's) & David Moore who scored 6 rec TD's. Between TE's Hollister, Dissley and Olsen an additional 6 more rec TD's.

You will see more impact plays from Tmac this year due to help he didn't have until now. Given the situations for both, it would be unfair to say Tmac is less of a WR than DK if you were being honest with yourself. You are entitled to your man crush but don't hate.

DK is bigger, faster, and stronger. He also has a knack for catching Td's. TMAC is a good WR don't get me wrong. but IMO if they did a redraft DK would still get picked higher than TMAC.

Now, I am not going to pile onto you because it seems everybody is doing that. I am not even saying TM is better…I am saying it is too early to tell. Metcalf is a more imposing figure than TM, but he is also more imposing than Randy Moss and Jerry Rice…Don’t see you arguing he is better than them.

TM 2019 58 catches on 93 targets for 919 yards and 7 TDS with Keenum and DH

Metcalf 2020 83 catches on 129 targets for 1300 and 10…with Russell Wilson
TM 2020 87 catches on 134 targets for 1118 and 4…with DH, KA, and AS


Now maybe that Russell Wilson guy sucked before Metcalf made him good but I don’t see anybody arguing that in THIS world.

wow i didn't realize their 2019 seasons were pretty much even.

I still think DK right now is a better physical receiver but we definitely got way better value for TMAC in the 3rd rd.

from GK's numbers it is a lot closer than i thought. the difference would be DK is probably more effective in the red zone but only because of his size.

It could also be he is more effective in the red zone because he has a QB that throws in the red zone.

But when you say better, i kinda think devante adams being "better" than DK despite them both having elite QBs. As far as TMAC n DK they seem to be on the same level.

you will get no argument from me on Devante Adams. Don't get me wrong, I love that TMAC is on our team and I'm hoping he stays healthy and balls out this season.

I've been on message boards since '05. Been through the cult of colt brennan fanboys, that one Wr that blew up against 3rd and 4th stringers in preseason, laron landry, 5 alarm fred davis, etc. I'm just too jaded now to get up for folks who wowed with small football sample sizes or were overhyped.

I'm good with healthy debate and for the most part that's what i got, especially from GK.
