Would be an upgrade at QB? Sure. But they would lose picks and take a hit to the books, that would jeopardize building the defense up, spending in FA and high talent in the draft. But you could make the case it makes them worse in the long run and KC is still the top dog.

CLE needs to add pieces and depth on defense, maybe trade Odell if they get the right offer bc they would save a lot on the books

Probably not, but Watson is a better QB.

OBJ would probably love him because Watson has a history of connecting with an elite WR.
obj is a cancer no matter what flashes he occasionally shows.....

I wouldn't rule out the Cowboys going after Watson.

Like I said before, you get Watson and lose others. Their cap space is cut in half and then all those guys you have to resign/core like Chubb, Ward, Bitonio, Harrison...those become question marks + you lose 1st round picks. So they get better at QB but they don’t necessarily get better as a team. It doesn’t make sense

What's their cap situation like?

The $20 would go to about $10 this year but most importantly the future cap space would go down significantly next year with that $40M salary for Watson kicking in. They would not have enough to build a defense without letting key guys go
