I was hoping she was right, but also kinda hoping she wasn’t. Does that make me a bad person? This episode... holy crap...great ender...

I feel bad for their kids.
Their real parents were murdered. And now their adoptive dad turns out to be Dr. Manhattan, so you know he's just gonna bugger off somewhere.
Huh? Their real dad was murdered on the White Night.
am I mistaken?? I don't think I am, but I watch a lot of tv so maybe different shows got faded in... but wasn't he in the second episode?? he came to visit the kids, and the parents didn't let him come in to see them?? wasn't he a racist POS???
YesDiscussion question:
So who do y'all think Trieu's dad is? It's gotta be Veidt, right? She's somehow gonna save him from Europa or maybe already has and is trapped in that statue
No way was veidt’s comment “an elephant told me” just a coincidence. He HAS to be referring to the elephant that King’s character was hooked up to, right?
Some astute viewers have pointed out that the cake he gets in each episode actually commemorates a year he's been on Europa and all the scenes we've seen of him are actually in the past. The farm house scene from episode 3(?) where something crash lands from space is Trieu recovering Veidt, her father.
That's pretty damn observant and extremely possible. I'm just glad I have more going on in my life than to over-analysis TV shows though. Some astute viewers have pointed out that the cake he gets in each episode actually commemorates a year he's been on Europa and all the scenes we've seen of him are actually in the past.
