Yep. Especially since the gameday crew hates Lincoln anyways.

At the USC game our fans were really really shitty. Throwing shit at them while they were on set. Fowler got pissed at one point and walked over to us and told us to knock it off because they had to do so many takes. I was sitting in row 1 so I saw it all go down.

They said they usually go out after or before the games, but they didn't in Lincoln because they didn't feel safe. It was :tsk: material for sure.

My Dad just texted and said he was getting us some tickets so we could watch the Huskers grind the Sugar Canes into granulated sugar. Funny old codger. He hates Miamuh.

Nebraska needs to watch out for Dorsett. He does look very, very fast.

Those really fast dudes, have caused Nebraska/Papuchis/Pelini trouble in the past.

If we stop the run we will win without a problem.

Our team has far less question marks and our Offensive unit is more powerful than any unit they have on that team.

Problem is for some reason we don't stop the run in games like these. These prime time games, or whatever you want to call them, are always where we get gashed in the running game.

Hell, if we stop the run in most of the games we play this year, we'll win. It's not really much of a mystery. Every game we've lost in the past few seasons have had 2 common themes. Couldn't stop the run, and couldn't win the turnover battle.

I just hope we don't beat ourselves. a loss to miami will drop us out the poll fast. I just didn't see much that scared me watching that game. miami will always have talent and speed that's never gonna change. but their offense under a freshman qb isn't gonna be explosive but we should still come with the mentality to snap them in half.

Yea Wisconsin's situation isn't the greatest. Iowa looked average this past weekend. Obviously Northwestern has all sorts of issues.

It's a year where Nebraska sits well. We'll just have to see if the mental mistakes return or not going forward.

If we could stop beating ourselves, this could be a real good season.

osu and msu have big games we will see more of them and how they will be.

if we stay hungry we could sneak up this year.

We won't find out how good we are until we play a game on prime time national television because that's when we see the true Pelini team come out. Always shit the bed on the national stage, once Pelini can get our team to play well in front of the nation i'll feel more comfortable about future opponents.

This has trap game written all over it, but they are beatable.
May I ask how this is a trap game? Nebraska has Fresno the week before, they look very beatable as well. Then they play Illinois the week after. Maybe I am missing something but I don't see this being a trap game at all. If any game is a trap game it would be Illinois since its one week before the biggest game of the year.

Huskers will smoke the Canes. They look turrible, just turrible. I'll be looking for avy bets on this one.

Me being the eternal optimist that I am, I actually feel better about things this season. I hope my optimism is warranted.

Louisville looked good at the same time. I believe that one of the keys this year, barring any more injuries, is just how hungry is our team? How badly do they want to do great things?

Offensively I feel better.

We are just very solid across the board Offensively.

Defensively I will have to wait and see. I saw us get torched on FAU's first drive of the game and that was just enough to fuck my day up. I don't care one bit how they did the rest of the game. I do not believe yet that our Defense is worth a damn.

Here's some threads from back then. Little did we know Southern Miss was going to finish (0-12). Jed made good comment in one that it's signature Bo for his teams to "Not know how to handle success". Here we are 2 years later.

It was short lived discussion as the threads went straight into UCLA week where the forum eventually melted down.
