Watching Miami tonight?

They are supposed to lose on the road @ Louisville.

I want to see them get this one tonight. Also want to see what we're dealing with in a few weeks.

A couple years ago it was nearly a forgone conclusion that we were going to go out to UCLA and pummel the Bruins. I feel like most of Husker Nation has the same idea heading into this game against Miami.

Can't forget they have a shitload of talent all over the field.

Louisville defense must be pretty good. Duke Johnson is not running wild on them.

Kaaya has been rattled when pressure is applied.

I do not think Miami's O line is doing that good.

Two freshman QBs makes it tough to evaluate.

Yes, I am worried because Miami can get up for the big game, and Nebraska will be a big game. But if Nebraska can pound it with Ameer and Tommy can throw, Nebraska will score quite a bit on Miami. I am not sure if Miami can keep up with that.

Louisville qb was below avg he had several head scratching moments luckily the defense and rb was in the zone. he's ok but the game just now got out of hand

if Kaaya tears us up then we are in serious trouble season wise

if we truly want respect and make the move to being a top 15 team games vs teams like miami we need to win and win big. miami has talent won't deny that but their general looks ready for beer pong not a top or strong defense.

I just hope their all-star RB doesn't run for 5 miles on us. That is really my only concern.

Louisville's Defense is really good. We can't really compare our Defense to their's.

1. stop duke Johnson
2. keep everything in front they use play action but will be throwing alot of check downs with the freshman
3. create havoc we play them early enough that he will not be ready for the noise pressure or game.

on offense
1. be smart don't force anything
2. no TO
3. run the ball but be creative screens will kill miami pass rush.
4. put the pressure on them early come out strong. keep miami around or have a slow start it will give miami confidence

If we stop the run we will win without a problem.

Our team has far less question marks and our Offensive unit is more powerful than any unit they have on that team.

Problem is for some reason we don't stop the run in games like these. These prime time games, or whatever you want to call them, are always where we get gashed in the running game.

Hell, if we stop the run in most of the games we play this year, we'll win. It's not really much of a mystery. Every game we've lost in the past few seasons have had 2 common themes. Couldn't stop the run, and couldn't win the turnover battle.
