Washington seemingly has the advantage here but then again so did Oklahoma, Oregon, TCU, Virginia Tech and Georgia. Petersen and The Broncos won all of those big games.

Boise State has a terrific receiving corps and a QB is ready to break out in a big way. If Boise State's aerial attack catches fire. WATCH OUT !!

(My Mind say Washington, My Gut says Washington but My Heart say Boise State)

Vegas says it's generally a 6 point or more swing at minimum. So Washington -3 at home and if the game were to be played in Boise, that line would be Boise -3.

According to home field advantage add on bet lines...

Washington gets -4.25 HFA

Boise gets -5.5 HFA

So on a neutral field Vegas has BSU @ -.75

Pretty much a pickem on neutral field or BSU -1

I just don't trust Southwick. He's a bit of a let down after the long line of QBs.

Forgot the guy before Dimwindie (sp?)...Bart something? Then the guy whose name I just butchered, the Ginger and Moore. Southwick isn't close to any of those guys.

I can't believe y'all are going to play Kasen Williams and especially ASJ after what they did. Unreal. They would not only have been suspended by Petersen, they would most likely be thrown off the team. How disgraceful that Sark is playing them. It's all good though. I want Washington at full strength in that game anyway.

First of all, I've been saying all along I would suspend ASJ for at least 1 game if not 3 so I agree that what he did deserves a severe punishment. Kasen, not so much. I have no problems with him playing the whole game vs BSU. I would say that I imagine every duck fan and every BSU fan will be crying the same stuff if ASJ runs out and plays in the first series, but we don't know what sort of punishment he did face and likely never will.

Sark said the other day that he already knows what they are going to do in terms of playing them in the BSU game, but that so far over his 4+ years he has never publicly made any statement about discipline on any player and it is their standing practice to keep all things internal. I may not like it, but I accept that at least he is consistent and does this for all kids and all situations. That means all of your venom above is pure speculation. No one knows if either will sit out any game time.

Someone fairly early on leaked that ASJ had some serious community service and other requirements by the school itself and the athletic department. No one knows the full details, but he spent most of the spring and part of the summer working on whatever they asked of him. Not being suspended for game time doesn't mean he didn't pay a penalty both by the school and by the athletic department. Everyone keys in on the game suspensions because of how public that is, but that may pale in comparison to what he actually went through. Again, I would have suspended him anyway.

Sark has said many times he considers the overall character of the kid as well as the situation they were in and by all accounts this was way out of character for him and something everyone around him expects will never happen again in his life. Of course the haters are going to call that an excuse to not lose a kid for a big game and that's to be expected. The reality is there is a lot that goes into making these decisions and it is far more about the kid than the games they could miss.

Where is this moral outrage over other teams you don't hate as much as UW? Did you know WSU had a kid who was popped for a DUI during the season and only missed one practice? Does that make you want to say the same things as you did against UW? I'd bet not. DUI's are very common and not all get punished the same, nor should they. ASJ isn't like Jeremy Stevens and shouldn't face the same penalty because of it. Are you going to tell me you would be in favor of your coach kicking off a kid like ASJ for making a mistake? Really? You take your best player who is also a team leader and considered a great outstanding citizen and put him in that situation over the off season and tell me you would be crying the same thing toward your own team. Go ahead. I'll laugh my ass off when you do.

Gonna be there and want to see the best players on the field. This kills all the excuses win or lose.

This was just a DUII and an underage drinking right? Both from a while ago which means they had plenty of time to take a pound of flesh from these guys right? Doesn't always have to be playing time. My humble opinion is if it'd happened very recently they'd both sit. No need to sit them if they paid in another fashion over time.

ASJ was drunk enough he crashed his car into a ditch so hard his head hit and broke the windshield. He also refused to take a breath test at the scene. That's bad, but yes it did happen in March and he has been going through whatever the team asked of him since. He missed all of spring practice on suspension while serving it.

Kasen had a lessor charge of something like drinking while driving, but he blew under the legal limit and paid a minor fine and the case was closed. His didn't rise to the same level as ASJ's. KW was in May I believe so it also was a while ago.

No one knows what Sark is going to do with either of them come game time vs BSU and I'm sure he is happy to not tell anyone given that it means BSU needs to prepare for both and also have game plans for not having either there. Makes them have to prepare a bit more than knowing either way.

I can tell you this: I still expect UW to win whether or not either of them play and I won't make any excuses for the loss if they don't get in the game. I hope the same can be expected of all the BSU fans as well. If you lose and they both played show enough class to not dump on Sark's decisions as a reason why you lost. It's going to be a great evening of football either way. Let the game stand on its own.

I would go with Washington in this one. Home field advantage and a more experienced team will be too much for Boise State.

I'm surprised Utah fan has the sack to post here. Both Boise State and Washington have packed Utah's fudge about pyloric sphincter deep. Maybe Utah fans are starting to enjoy the role of catcher?

Nice to see there is still no love lost between BSU and Utah. God bless college football.

Would be nice to see BSU continue to play PAC teams in OOC. Especially the northern region of the PAC. While I enjoy that we booked H and As with Hawaii a few years ago and gives me a great reason to go out there to visit the fam and go to the game there too, their football program has turned into a dumpster fire.

While a certain school south of us is now too scared and afraid to book another H and A with BSU after the last one, the other PAC12 north schools and Utah should try to keep the tradition alive. I would love to see UW book another H and A with BSU.

Hawaii is getting close to 5 alarm dumpster fire, and thus will probably get a phone call from Uncle Phil about accepting a couple 100Ks to book a onetime home at Autzen soon. Too bad they don't have the balls to call BSU instead. Sad.

Definitely no love between us and Utah. Utah fans are more obnoxious than BYU fans. I see more PAC 12 stickers than Utah stickers. But there are plenty of Boise fans here in Utah.

I agree about the scheduling. There needs to be more between PAC North teams and Boise. Oregon did it, but won't do it again. Washington is stepping up and Oregon St has. Utah, however, canceled our series and replaced it with a 1AA. I get it though - they have to get some W's somehow now that they are in the PAC.

Well, Bronco, if they wanted W's, it seems that they would have stayed in the MWC. They face nine PAC12 teams every season now. If that doesn't mean anything, why do you say there should be more games between Boise and the PAC12 North? What a joke when Boise State criticizes anyone's schedule.

Is there a reason why you hate Boise so much? Could it be the 56 to 24 CURB STOMPING, BITCHSLAPPING that Boise laid down on perennial underachieving, SHITHOUSE Arizona State in the bowl game a year and a half ago?

You were pretty dang close, Mellow. His name was Bart Hendricks and he was an effing stud. He was succeeded by Ryan Dinwiddie in 2001 who shattered the NCAA career passing efficiency record and turned out to be an even bigger STUD.

Seriously? Seems I touched on a nerve. Is the PAC turning into Team SEC? Please. Utah is a one hit wonder, and always has been. We had a series schedule. They got beat down multiple times - and canceled the rest, while replacing us with a 1AA. It seems that even with a 1AA they can't pull out a winning season. And don't give me this "The PAC is REALLY tough!". Utah's failure in the PAC is not so much of an admission of how tough the PAC is, but on how much of a one hit wonder Utah really is.
