I didn't see what happened, but I came back to it and heard that the refs sent the player to the box, got together during the commercial to discuss it, then let him out. JoeB and Laughlin seemed to think it was a definite high-sticking double minor.

Forgive me...I haven't been paying attention, but how long has Green been out? Just curious really.

Green actually missed a few games after being hit in the ear off a shot by Brooks Orpik. Came back and took a blow to the head on about his second or third shift and hasn't returned since...I'm suprised that you didn't remember it was Orpik's shot that originally messed him up. I think someone made a comment on here about how ridiculous it was for the Caps fans to be booing when Green got hit as if any other teams' fans would have acted differently.

Heh heh, that was me. They were losing, I was on edge...that formula leads to a short fuse. But I did remember that, but I knew he came back fairly quick from that and then got hit by Stepan...I just didn't know that he had yet to return from that.
