we have him for 2 years , and we lost 2 picks from a good 2026 draft . this draft i can live with in a bad draft year

you have to be kidding me that you are upset with the draft picks that brought us Tunsil.

Congrats fellas. You are no longer the worst franchise in football. There are apparently dumber people than your front office now, and those people thought trading an elite LT for chump change made sense.

I have to think there must be something about Tunsil because this don't make sense, but maybe the Texans are just back to being the Texans after making some great moves a couple of years ago.

If you want a 3/4 ton truck you have to pay for it. They gave up 2 picks that might have been starters or part time starters and two potential special team players. If Tunsil starts and plays PB level for two years it's a win. If he plays well and they sign him for 2 or 3 years it's a damn good trade .... IMO ... good left tackles aren't cheap and getting a good one for 2 years @ $21.3 million seems like a good plan to me.

I like this trade but I'm not yet clear on the offensive thrust. Tunsil is one Hellava pass blocker, but merely decent as a run blocker.

Here's what puzzles me...(QB is given)

There are two ways to improve a run game, the first, conventionally employs a stout offensive line, and blocking TE. The second, perhaps more in line with today's game involves a strong passing game featuring two top flight receivers, the TE, and a fleet pass catching running back.

So, let me ask, with the addition of Tunsil, which road is most likely for this franchise?

i think the question that needs to be asked is why would the texans get rid of a 5x pro bowl qb with a young rising star qb ? ponder this on the tree of wooo

Some of my Texans friends down here say they have other people that they are going to have to pay and didn't want to extend Tunsil at his age.

Mixed reviews from them but they all think CJ holds on to the ball too long.
