Yeah, he had a leg far as FGs went, but could barely get it to the EZ on kick offs. That's not a problem any more though.

Remember, it's conditional. If he doesn't make the roster, we get our pick back. If he kicks well, we may have solved our kicker situation for a 7th. That's around the area you would pick a kicker anyway.

Why not wait until he gets cut? I assume they wanted him for this New England game to see how he handles kicking in a live game.
