So I wake up to these texts from my brother today who has been all in on Jayden. He thinks Maye is a bust and thinks Caleb is a headache. Now granted, my brother is a die hard, but a casual.

Cusses and yells when they lose, but probably doesn't know who Jeremy Reaves is. I found it interesting. I think deep down, there is a large portion of the fanbase that feels the way he does.

Name a good QB from Tennessee, other than Peyton.
Name a good QB from Michigan, other than Brady.
Name a good QB from Texas Tech, other than Mahomes.

Going by that logic, these players should not have been drafted.

I know the hit rate for the first "2" QBs drafted hasn't been ideal lately but i think all 3 have potential to be the guy for our franchise.
In addition, while MHjr has excellent tape, I'm not so sure the #2 and #3 WR prospects are that far behind. But going back to QB, you don't want another, i wish i drafted Tua or Justin situation

I can't believe so many posters are promoting rolling with Howell or trading for Justin Fields. The name of the game is franchise QB, we see it in the playoffs every year. Howell has shown who is and I doubt anyone sees him as a franchise QB. After year 3 we know who Justin Fields is. A capable starter and that's it, you don't win consistently by paying $27 million a year for a QB like this.

I voted Maye because I think he is a safer pick than Daniels. But if the guys who know than we do select Daniels I will trust their judgement.

Who is promoting either of those guys? I’ve posted my opinion that it’s possible we go with Howell, but I don’t think he earned the job last year so draft away.

i dont think we know about howell or fields , both have received poor coaching and were massively mishandled . the starting qb in the superbowl for the 49ers is a avg starter

that being said we will draft a qb somewhere in the draft , most likely at 2 overall

UNC fell off at the end of the season in both 2022 and 2023, I think that’s mainly on Mack Brown and the Tar Heels subpar defense, but I watched a lot of their games with Maye and he’s very talented. I would take him over Jayden Daniels, I think Daniels is good but I prefer passing QBs over rushing QBs. Maye is a very good passer but can run as well.
