That being said, if there no real "additional skills" then you have to look at past performance.
Not one person here has pointed out what maye does better than daniels. I have asked about a dozen times.

I will continue to ask about maye until there is answer.

They are similar but not the same. Maye stronger arm, better size time in the offense as compared to Daniels.

I think the biggest worry for me is Daniels habit of taking big hits and his slender physique.

Daniels had a offensive line and 2 elite receivers switch them around and I think Daniels wouldn't even be mentioned as a 1st rounder

You’re downn to throwing darts. Hopefully this team now has experts that know those traits and can determine which player(s) possess those abilities. But if you’re looking for answers here, you’re going to be disappointed. Just to give you an idea what these capabilies are that don’t show up in stats? Leadership, maturity, ability to process information quickly, ability to throw to a spot before the receiver is open, ability to read a defense, etc……

sorry but Maye had a crap oline and no receivers if you switched him onto LSU with that oline and 2 elite receivers they have I don't think Jayden Daniels is even in the discussion of being a 1st rounder if they were to be switched around

Due there there last two years, they are pretty close and I have pointed that out before. That is sophomore and Junior for Maye and 4th and 5th year for Daniels. Again your statement was not true.

I posted that mostly for statman duke.

For sure there were a lot of college QBs who were not good NFL QBs. If that was true Colt Brennan would be in the HOF now.
