pass RR is gonna need more then a bridge if he wants to keep his job
the thing is not many thought he was a good pick in round 4 , turns out he is better then we thought and i feel he will work into a solid # 2 te if he keeps it up
Two tight end sets at times. You know as well as I do that there are all kinds of sets. But yeah I agree with the use of two tight ends at times. It gives Turner more looks to present.
I sat and talked to a good friend who was the Remington award center at D-11 football. We talked about this thread and he laughed. He said holy shit we had to learn ton of sets based on our opponent and down and distance. There isn't just one set .... defense or offense.
I know, my friend and I were both right. Always glad to help. No, but there is one predominant set if the players you hsve in that set are mosmatches against everybody.
The pats had that with the two te thag they had, the niners rans two te sets with vernon davis in his prime, as dis the chargers with kellen winslow sr.
The panthers ran a lot of two rb sets with deAngelo Williams and the other guy they had. 3 rb sets when they included Tolbert in there.
The Pats ran multiple rb sets all the time as the predominant when they had all those backs - white, dillon, etc.
Your friend is right though. It’s more like tendencies…
