I grew up in a neighborhood that was mixed Jewish/Italian/Irish. The Jewish kids rarely played sports with us, and when they did, they usually sucked. I don't think it had to do with them being Jewish, but more to do with their parent's making them stay in and study. Most of them grew up to be professionals like doctors, lawyers, Computer Scientist. Most of the other kids ended up doing well, some did excedingly well, and the others did ok.
