Does eli have a better career passer rating than Michael Vick yet?

Passer rating???LOL.. We got to go that far down the list to find something??

Can you say... Two time Two time Superbowl Champion and Superbowl MVP...

Can't but a handful of players EVER can make that statement...

You can Shove that passer rating where the sun don't shine..

Defensive line was the super bowl mvp. Eli was a league average qb. Passer rating is just one of the easiest things that is comprehensive over a career. One doesn't have to look far down a list to find it. The only thing he ever led the league in was interceptions. Three times.

Good luck with that. Players not in the top 10 at their position while they played don't tend to get in on the first ballot.

ehhh i dunno about that, hes getting in though

Maybe first ballot was a little dramatic :-)

I'd bet a lot that he gets in.

I get it. People from Philly or Philly fans have a hard time giving him any credit... But just check his stats against QB's in the HOF now... It's a lock.

He’s getting in, I’m 500% with u. I think some of his non super bowl season kee him from first ballot . But that one play and two rings. Book him in.

Yep, & Plunkett also is still not in the HOF.

Of course. I agree with you on passer rating though.

Passer rating showed the overall proficiency of eli, which demonstrates how mediocre he was during his career. Look at his numbers compared to all the actual qb stars of his era. Then look at his numbers compared to the other long time mediocre QBs of his era. Do his numbers look more like brees/peyton/Brady/Rodgers/Ben or do they look more like Flacco/Fitzpatrick?

you dont have to convince me that Eli is mediocre. This we agree. I just dont care for the passer rating stat.
He has been on Superbowl caliber teams & is still lucky to make it to .500.

It may not be perfect but it is pretty straight forward and it's hard to argue that it doesn't show who is actually a good passer overall.

What problem? They had good players and coaching. Eli arguably led them on two solid PO runs and rings.

Eli doesn't play defense.

That defensive line made a number of hall of fame qbs look silly. The year the giants ended the Patriots undefeated season, the giants scored exactly the league average against the Patriots but held them to less than half of their average score. How is that a testament to the quarterback or even the offense? They literally scored what any random team did during that season against the Patriots.

Steve Spagnuolo should have been the MVP of both of the SB's against NE. He identified weakness/injuries on the Patriots O-line pre-game and during and attacked those areas relentlessly.

It worked, kudos to him.
