Armstrong's contract was never guaranteed, so the waiving was pretty much all but a done deal. It does clear up some additional cap space, which the Warriors may use to bring in another player. Hopefully they can get another big for the vet minimum (Udoh?).

I know this is off topic, but I was really surprised at how good Jermaine Oneal was last year. What sort of injury does he have and when is he expected back this year?
