FTR the Cleveland game would be the game to tie the record. If they get to that point and win, I can see it getting to 35 games. Something tells me they lose to Indy or Boston this week though but at this point I really don't know. What I do know is if they win their final 3 games of this roadtrip, they will make it to 32 games with Cleveland coming to town on X-Mas to tie the Lakers record.

If Indy doesn't get them, I have no idea when they lose. That team is just so good. Last night they were up 7 going to the 4th and had Steph, Klay, & Draymond out for the first half of the 4th. The bench increased their lead from 7 to 17 against most of the Nets starters.

I hate to be THAT guy to be such a downer.

But, 33 regular games over 2 seasons is not the same.
It is two diffrent teams.

And they lost several playoff games in between, some on their home floor.

Streak ends at Indy!
George would have to play out of his mind. And even if he does they are going to have to stop the GSW guards, which I just don't think they can do.
Unless the Warriors tire or overlook a game, or if everything just falls in place for the other team that night, I think they are undefeated going into X-mas.
What a gift, undefeated Warriors against LeBron with something to prove for X-mas.

That would be something. Kyrie and Shump are supposed to be back for that game, so the Cavs will be healthy. Although it will be with no prior action this season, which could hurt them bigtime. Warriors might go 82-0 :laugh3:

You are not the only guy, I feel the same way. How can you use wins from last year, that had different players?

I hope when the Warriors do lose their first game, it is to a non-playoff team or a team the Warriors would likely not see in the playoffs. I wouldn't want to give the Warriors top competition a mental edge over them.

The record is 33 straight in one season. Getting 33 straight regular season wins over the course of 2 seasons is nice and all. But no need to pretend it's the same accomplishment. It's like the "Serena Slam" in tennis or the "Tiger Slam" in golf. Win all of them in the same season or stfu.

when the Lakers accomplished this they dropped the potential #34 to the VERY relevant Milwaukee Bucks at the time(the Bucks had won the title the previous season i believe). Lakers still ended up with the title in that season so no worries either way imo...

Even if they pass the Heat, I would consider the Heat 27 game win streak more impressive because it happened in the same season and we did not lose 6 games in between

in fact, i remember they started off the season at 6-3. good start, but nothing to write home to mom about. but imagine at the time it happened to see that record BALLOON to 39-3. used to love reading the sports pages back then...:heh:

Can't see them losing, maybe only to Cleveland but other than that I can't see them losing.

I'm in agreement. Streaks should start and end during one season, and not have any layovers from previous. In my mind, the streak the Warriors have right now is at 22.
