The NFL only gave the 49ers a warning for the Lane hit on the sideline. I expected more but can't say I'm unhappy with the outcome. :bullshit:

Well that totally sucks. Not that it ended up mattering, but damn you can't have guys on the sidelines knocking players down for God Sakes.

A warning means they didn't have a good camera angle. They did not have enough evidence to determine intent.
Over and done.

It's just more tape to piss off the Seahawks next time they play. Maybe that guy will actually suit up.

I guess it wasn't a player, according to reports.

The reason they only gave a warning is because the 49ers kept saying they can't identify the person. Lying sack of shits!

Whatever the case...the NFL needs to address this league wide. Otherwise one of these days it's going to happen to one of their darling superstars resulting in some freak injury and then they'll be all over it

I had a feeling that would be the outcome when we didn't hear anything about it in the run-up to the Super Bowl. Maybe if that game had all the cameras that FOX put out for the Super Bowl, they might have been able to figure out for sure what happened. Oh well. Lane didn't get hurt and the Seahawks won the Super Bowl. I'll take that in lieu of whatever punishment they could have handed out to the 49ers organization for that hit.

:agree:

i agree totally with this. Can't blame them really, The Hawks are in their heads and they hate getting out muscled when they were the bully on the block for a little bit. Just hate how someone talks about accountability but has none himself. Sooner or later ( i expect sooner ) that shits going to wear thin on the 49er fans. Saw some of 49er fans all ready talking about it on facebook, espn and NFL net, they are starting to tire of his antics. But like any other sport as long as you're winning you get a free pass. A couple more playoff loses to the Hawks and that would mark the end.
