Now this is offensive to me. I'm white and far from a liberal. You might want the check the racial mix of Congress calling for the name change.

It's not up to whites, blacks, Asians or any other race besides American Indians to declare if Redskins is racist or not. Personally I take much bigger issue with Chief Wahoo in Cleveland., than I do with "Redskins" but my opinion has the weight of my pinkie toe, since that's about the amount of Blackfoot Indian blood I have running through my body.

Right all. Can we please try to avoid the political labels and insults, if possible? This is not the Political Forum. I realize some subjects lend themselves to this type of back and forth accusation, but it does nothing but inflame all sides.

Really takes away from any respectful discussion on an issue. It's way too easy to label and stereotype someone as a 'right wing' or 'left Libby'.

Truth is most peoples viewpoints are somewhere in the middle, with agreement on some of the issues of both parties.
