Ware isn't past his prime. Give the guy some credit. He had a down year playing in a 4-3 when he's a much better OLB.

The Niners have plenty of OLBs though.

No need to sign Ware; just promote Lemonier and sign Revis if they wanna use Brooks' cap space elsewhere.

I'd much rather have Revis as well. A corner that could shut down 1 side of the field would be scary on our defense.

Not the way the 49ers use their Corners. They just back peddle and make the tackle after the receiver has made the catch. Perrish Cox and Eric Wright can do that. No need to pay someone like Revis.

They've already signed Talib and Ward, so watch out if they shore up their pass rush with Ware and Allen. That defense should be legit.

But they won't pay Decker?
They would pay for an over the hill Allen, maybe washed up Ware, and a so-so Talib and not one of Mannings favorite targets? Are they trying to get better or worst?

Anyone find it amazing that where ever Manning plays they have an average or below average defense? Before he went to Denver they were one of the better defenses in football.

No to Ware, we have Aldon already and Ware can't replace Brooks' versatility. It is still astounding to me that people don't understand what Brooks means to our defense.

I think it is Ware or Allen but not both. They wanted Allen and then Ware got cut so he became their priority. As a result the Bears and Seahawks are after Allen now.

Well they are not paying Decker. so that will hurt their offense a little.
