If there was no change from last season they don't give a reason for the ranking. Beats me why Bama is where they are. I do have to wonder what they are basing it on though, I thought last year there was an explanation provided. Maybe I'm just not finding it yet.

I'm pretty sure Alabama has done surprisingly well in academic measures. Graduating way more kids, getting better scores, etc.

I was hoping you could click the name to get info on why they say that. I don't agree that A&M is that much of a powerhouse, but also don't know why we are embarrassed. I guess this is just football too, otherwise Baylor should be down in the embarrassed area.

I find it hard to believe they have IU (Indiana) on the positive side of being a powerhouse...ahead of Purdue even. IU would have trouble beating Kansas and Kentucky.

Didn't Aggie have a decent amount of offseason arrests? The graph includes that, and yeah, I think they overestimated TAMU's powerhouseness.
