I mean they still could've forced the punt but Cook was running okay - at least a pretty steady 3-4 YPC given his long was only 12 and he got 82 yards. An extra 5-8 yards could've made a difference (if anything psychological) for not only the field goal attempt but also for the punter who has a bit more time to wind up. And I would've been fine passing but give Allen the option to run it and pick some shorter routes. Allen just started huckin' it downfield lol.

Exactly, the Bills had a better chance at getting a first down running it with Cook or Allen and at least would’ve forced the Texans to use all 3 timeouts. What they did was really fucking stupid.

Oh and you're right, the timeouts did matter because obviously their play to get them basically in the target zone required a timeout lol. Yah, baffling decision.
