James Harden would get my vote.
This is not true, once again, the team collapses to let him get uncontested rebounds so that he can get the ball and get the offense started quicker, the Rockets do the same thing with Harden.
Almost none of their rebounds are contested rebounds, they are bullshit.
I can agree with this, it is not like he is getting offensive rebounds. Now he does create shots for teammates but that has nothing to do with him shooting at a poor rate. I mean even taking as many shots as he does he still shoots low. The thing is, I think the Thunder NEED him to do this, he has single-handily won games for them or made comebacks late in the 4th.

If only there was an advanced stat to support my contention.....wait a tick.
It's called PER, or Player efficiency rating. It's the most advanced stat in use in factoring in everything a player contributes and the net efficiency of those contributions.
#1 is Westbrook with a 30.69 PER.
#2 is Harden with a 27.83 PER.
So Westbrook is around 9.5% more efficient than the second most efficient player in The NBA this year.
The other players in consideration for MVP all rate near the top in PER..
#3 Durant 27.77 PER
#4 Leonard 27.65 PER
#5 James 26.73 PER
#6 Thomas 26.66 PER.
It's really remarkable just how well PER identifies the top candidates.
Westbrook should run away with The MVP award.
What the fuck does PER have to do with what I said? you giant turd
How did you prove me wrong? I said him and Harden get a lot of uncontested rebounds, you know, because I actually watch the games and can see this with my eyes.Sorry I proved you wrong, try to take it like a man.
You tiny speck of shit.

Then you learned how to look up stats, and went and found PER ratings, and all the sudden it's the end all be all?
lmfao, you're a giant fucking can.
You tried to make a case against Westbrook based on your obtuse observations.
I showed how wrong you are based on matching common sense with advanced statistics.
I win.

Too bad PER doesn't equal MVP.
It sometimes does but not in every case.
Derrick Rose won it in 10-11 and his PER was almost a full 4 points lower than Lebron.
Kobe won it in 07-08 and his PER was almost a full 5 points lower than Lebron.
Steve Nash won back-to-back MVP's being 14th and 18th in PER.
It also has to do a lot with the standings and Harden has boosted his team into the 3rd seed, way above projected, he also leads the league in assists.
I said that Westbrick gets uncontested rebounds, after you, someone who obviously doesn't watch the games, attested that the rebounds he gets are somewhat meaningful to the teams success.
My point is, shut the fuck up you dolt lmao.
Are you crying ?
Seriously Debbie, get a grip.
You're the loser who reacted to my factual post like a Deb with zits on prom night.
My point is extremely valid and you have very thin skin.
If Westbrook wins, it'll be the lowest FG% by a MVP winner (.425), since Bob Cousy in 1956-57
No clue what the hell the pre-teen Debbie talk means.
Your point had nothing to do with the argument at hand, which is Westbrooks empty stat padding of rebounds, after you said he gets the team extra possessions because of his rebounds (he doesn't), and you don't watch the games.
The thread is about who should win MVP, that is what is at hand...Debbie.
