I'm not sure anyone has ever gotten to the QB, in shotgun which is where Brady plays mostly and Von surely knows this, in 1 sec in the history of the NFL.

These guys run 40 yards in under 5 seconds man. You really think he can't make it 5-7 yards in one second if it's a free rush? Pretty sure Von runs around a 4.5.

And you really think he gets a straight up clean rush, and the distance he would have to cover when a QB is in shotgun is greater than 5-7 yards by the way. Asq + Bsq = Csq.

Sorta, was just pointing out the distance from the edge to the QB isn't the same as from center to the QB, in the shotgun.

But for the sake of argument... Average distance from his stance to a QB in shotgun is around 5yds? He would need to travel the entire 5yd length @ ~10mph to reach the QB in that time.

Denver better cover those underneath routes... Take some chances and force Brady to throw down the field, or he will pick apart a defense with quick passes all day long... Patriots don't even need a running game
