you definitely have a point there. I think there should be a bigger concern however. there is no way in hell that this is an isolated incident. how long has this sort of thing gone on, and really, how many have gotten away with it.

Apparently it was their plan to hand out more than 6. But somehow the metrics changed due to collusion by the sample taker. Now why that would change it, I dont understand exactly.

I believe its all the same..the legalities change a lot when blood taking gets involved. If the league really wanted to crack down on the drugs in general they should be doing hair follicle tests... I understand that will nail you as far back as 6 months. for THC anyway

What I most do not understand though is why the league gives a crap about marijuana use. I mean other than it is still illegal around much of the country but not everywhere. Also it looks as if it will actually be legal in most states very soon. Its not as if its a performance enhancer, in fact if anything i would think the opposite.

Their drug policy cannot vary state to state. Until it is legal in all 50 states, it will be banned by the NFL.

Not really? I do miss Von Miller on the field but he has definitely gotten what he deserved and probably should have deserved more.

well...the feds just recently invited the rest of the country to go hog wild with it...my point is that it should have been legal in all 50, decades ago. in fact I'm totally in favor of legalizing all drugs. I don't personally care if my neighbors are smokin crack and fuckin sheep as long as they aren't affecting anyone else with it.

If you wanna get right down to it. The league themselves stated that he didnt test positive for ANYTHING. the suspension was based on the simple fact of trying to cheat the system. now any of us can speculate all we want as to his reason for trying to cheat. feel free to imagine that it was heroin if that makes you feel better, but he has been known to smoke some pot in the past. For that reason I think most are satisfied to let it end there. Its not as if its some sort of world changing conspiracy theory.

I agree with that as well..but it appears it wont be long before their policy flies in the face of every state law.
