For violation of league policy. It's currently in appeals process.

faces a four-game suspension from the NFL for violation of the league's policy,

Man, that's a biggie, though, to the bold, I would point out that there's more than one.

So much for a 'Do you think Von Miller is juicing?' thread.

Tested positive for weed and molly. Previously tested positive in 2011.

Bowlen and Elway must be pissed. First the pair of DUIs and now recreational drug use. The next guy probably loses his job

He'll get picked up as fast as they drop him if he does.

I don't know where the rumours of exactly what he is going to get suspended for, if he does get suspended are coming from, but no on knows what the reason is outside of the league, the NFLPA and the player himself.

When you hear what the player tested for, its always either (a) pure speculation or (b) something put out by the players people to hide what it really was. For example, its become common practice for player's representative to put out that their player tested positive for adderall when they get caught, the truth of the matter is that it could just have as well been steroids. the league can't identify what it was.

One member of the NFLPA has confirmed that it is not related to PED abuse

Again, the NFLPA works for the players so any information that they release is only and exactly what the player and his representative wants to be released.

It could be any proscribed drug. it could be marijuana, or it could be steriods. The only statement from a source that could be deemed credible is the NFL and they can't comment.

Seeing reports abt 4 game susp,” Miller wrote. “I know I did nothing wrong. I’m sure this’ll be resolved fairly. Disapp. Broncos have 2 open camp like this.”

Mike Klis of the Denver Post, citing an unnamed source, reported Monday that Miller tested positive for amphetamines and marijuana in 2011

If Miller is indeed facing a suspension under the substance-abuse policy, it means that he violated the policy multiple times. So when he says he did nothing wrong, in a roundabout way he’s accurate. The suspension means he did something he shouldn’t have done at least three times.

And here’s where the case could get even more interesting. Now that recreational marijuana use is legal in Colorado, Miller could try to challenge any violations occurring since the law was passed, if his potential suspension arises from marijuana use.

Union: Miller?s suspension doesn?t flow from steroids policy | ProFootballTalk

No chance he could challenge by way of Colorado Pot laws. Every player could say "I was in Colorado when I smoked"........ to get around the rules.
